Sydney TCRC Research Achievements

The Translational Cancer Research Centres (TCRCs) located around Sydney were designed to facilitate more efficient and effective incorporation of research, clinical training, education and service delivery. They are able to do so though linking leading research and clinical centres.

Seven TCRCs have been initiated since 2011 including Sydney Vital, Sydney Catalyst, Translational Cancer Research Network, The Kids Cancer Alliance, Hunter Cancer Research Alliance, Sydney West Translational Cancer Research Centre and Centre for Oncology Education and Research Translation.

In 2016, they were 787 members from 73 institutions including universities, research institutes, hospitals and local health districts.
