On 3rd May 2019, Sydney Vital was pleasured to present the Colorectal Preceptorship 2019 with Merck – an informative and engaging day about the multidisciplinary management of colorectal cancer and the program saw more than 40 trainees from a variety of backgrounds – oncology fellows, registered nurses, pharmacist and other allied health professionals.
We were honoured to have a panel of colorectal specialists to share their experience and expertise. The 4 sessions of the program- biology, systematic treatment, surgery, novel therapeutics and concepts – sufficiently highlighted the key information and knowledge in managing colorectal cancers. Case presentations and discussion at the end helped attending delegates draw a lively picture of how a multi-disciplinary team practise their roles in the diagnosis and treatment process.
